Redleg can cater for all your packing and crating requirements, from
museum standard crating to budget soft-pack. The size and design of shipping
crates is determined by media, condition, size and number of works. All
crates are custom made for the artwork and to suit your needs. If you are sending paintings by normal transport, wrap the entire painting in a bubble-wrap envelope, sandwich the wrapped painting between two sheets of heavy cardboard or something similar, using styrofoam blocks to hold the sheets apart. Ensure that the blocks cannot slip. Firmly strap, tape or tie the sandwich together. This is called a "sandwich pack".
